Michigan's Department of Community Health is looking for students interested in science to participate in an online science fair.
The department is asking all K-12th grade Michigan students to submit a video on a science project by March 29 for the MDCH Explore Lab Science Program. Experiments, research studies, demonstrations and models will all be accepted.
Students can either submit individual projects or in a group with up to four students. Winners will be announced April 12 on the program's website. First prize winners will get their own lab coat.
The goal of the program is to get more children involved in lab science at an early age so they may choose it as a college major or career later in life.
