Downtown St. Joseph will celebrate the arrival of summer with a variety of family-friendly activities throughout the weekend. According to staff at St. Joseph Today, the city depends on the summer tourism season. The population of the normally-8,000 person city can quadruple over the course of the summer.

"It's Finally Friday" We Heart Art takes place Friday, May 31st and allows downtown merchants to stay open late, until 8 p.m. and will feature artists, refreshments, new art exhibits, special sales and giveaways.

On Saturday, June 1st, St. Joseph will welcome back their Farmers market to Lake Bluff Park. They will continue running every Saturday from 9a.m.-2p.m. At least 20 vendors will show off fresh produce, flowers, locally made products and more.

Coinciding with the market, the Craft Fair will also run on Saturday from 10 a.m.-5p.m. in Lake Bluff Park. Artists from Michigan and Indiana will participate.

Activities continue on Sunday, June 2nd, with the return of Antiques on the Bluff, where over 70 vendors will showcase their wares.
