The sky’s the limit when it comes to chasing your dreams, and that’s the motto one Michiana club lives by, literally.

The Tri-Valley Radio Control Club is celebrating its 50th anniversary on Saturday. Members of the club bond over their passion for flying and building model planes.

The Tri-Valley’s flying fields are located at the corner of Kern and Peppermint roads in South Bend. Festivities start at 9 a.m. and run throughout the day.

Anyone attending today can fly one of the model airplanes, or participate in several activities like the paint gun shoot out.

The celebration is completely free and open to the public, but the group is asking you to donate to their charity, Camp Millhouse. Camp Millhouse, located in South Bend, serves as a retreat for children and young adults with mental and physical disabilities.

For more information on Saturday’s event or Tri-Valley contact club’s president, Larry Masters, at 574-277-0197.
