Memorial service held for slain Westland teenager

A memorial service has been held for a Westland teenager whose body and the body of his close friend were found in an overgrown east side Detroit field.

The Detroit News reports (http://bit.ly/OzrEw7 ) the public remembrance for 18-year-old Jacob Kudla was held Saturday in Livonia.

Kudla and 17-year-old Jourdan Bobbish were last seen July 22 after leaving the east side Detroit home of Kudla's uncle. Kudla's car was found partially stripped the next day on the city's west side.

Their bodies were found July 27th. Both had been shot.

Services were held Friday for Bobbish, also of Westland.

Two men, 39-year-old Casey Green and 40-year-old Larry Anderson have been arrested on larceny and tampering with evidence charges related to Kudla's car.

No one has been charged in the teens' slayings.
