An 18-year-old Detroit man is due in court for one of three sexual assaults.
A preliminary examination is scheduled Thursday in 36th District
Court for Job Hughley.
Hughley is charged with three counts of first-degree criminal
sexual conduct, kidnapping, assault with intent to murder and felonious assault.
Hughley is accused of approaching a 37-year-old woman who was pushing her 6-month-old daughter in a stroller. Police say the
woman was forced to strip, and shot in the back when she ran.
A judge last month ordered Hughley to stand trial after hearing
testimony from two women who were forced off city streets at gunpoint and raped.
One woman said she was raped in an alley. The other said she was raped near a school and in another location.
