EAST LANSING, Mich. A 26-year-old Vernon man will stand trial for a series of sexual assaults this past spring in East Lansing.

Four victims testified Friday during Oswald Scott Wilder's preliminary examination in East Lansing District Court. Wilder is charged with multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct.

The Lansing State Journal reports that three of the women said they would not be able to identify their attacker.

The attacks occurred over seven weeks beginning in April. The women range in age from 19 to 24.

The Lansing State Journal reports that East Lansing police Detective Dan Brown testified that Wilder gave details about the assaults.

Judge Andrea Larkin denied defense attorney Paul Toman request to dismiss the charges. Toman argued that Wilder was not identified by any of the woman.
