DETROIT (AP) - A man has been shot to death while stopped at a bank's drive-thru window on Detroit's east side.

Police Capt. Charles Mahoney tells The Detroit News that another man fired at least seven shots through the passenger window of the pink BMW about 9:45 a.m. Friday.

The victim is described as being in his late 60s.

Police were reviewing footage from bank security cameras. They say the suspect was wearing a distinctive orange and red hooded sweatshirt.

Mark Mayer tells the newspaper that he was working next door at an auto service shop when he heard "pop, pop, pop, pop."
