Authorities in western Michigan say a 48-year-old man deliberately started a fire that caused his house to explode, killing him.
Forty-eight-year-old Charles Wilbur died Oct. 3 of injuries sustained in an explosion the day before in Muskegon County's Muskegon Township.
Mlive.com (http://bit.ly/OLUjSV ) reports that fire Chief Dave Glotzbach says an investigation has determined that Wilbur purposefully set the house on fire using flammable liquids.
Wilbur was the only one home at the time.
The fire chief says the conclusion is based on physical evidence and interviews.
