A man died after falling off his ATV. It all happened because he was trying to catch a hat that was blowing off his head.

VAN BUREN COUNTY A man died after falling off his ATV. It all happened because he was trying to catch a hat that was blowing off his head.

It happened Monday in Van Buren County. The victim was 69-year-old Glen W Sutton from the Gobles area.

A witness says he was reaching for his hat and accidentally hit the throttle. The ATV revved up on two wheels and the man fell off, hitting his head on the ground of the corn field.

Sutton was not wearing a helmet. He died later at a hospital.
