Authorities have identified a 37-year-old woman whose body was found in the parking lot of a northern Macomb County mobile home park.
Sheriff Anthony Wickersham tells The Macomb Daily in Mount Clemens Monday that Sandra Lee Loepp was walking home early Sunday morning from a nearby nightclub when she was hit by a vehicle.
Wickersham says Loepp appears to have been hit about 1 a.m. and dragged for less than a mile when the driver pulled over outside the Washington Township mobile home park and dislodged her body.
The sheriff says the vehicle that struck Loepp suffered some damage. Some car parts have been recovered.
