On day 10 of the government shutdown, a Michigan Congressman is getting a chance to share his thoughts with the President, face-to-face.

Michigan Representative Fred Upton will be part of a small group of congressional leaders to meet with President Obama at the White House on Thursday. The President had invited the full republican caucus to the meeting, but Speaker John Boehner chose to bring only the House GOP leadership team and committee chairmen.

The president met with the democrat House caucus Wednesday.
