Ann Arbor police say they've arrested a 19-year-old man after the laptop computer he stole snapped his picture and sent it to a security site.

Lt Renee Bush tells AnnArbor.com that two men returned to their home early Sunday and found that the computer and other items were stolen in a break-in.

Bust says the computer's owner had installed Orbicule security software designed to take the user's photo and email it to a website.

Computer owner Logan Chadde says the program managed to catch the thief using Facebook and talking with another person about how he was going to sell the stolen laptop.

Bush says police knew the suspect from an earlier encounter and says he was expected to be charged Monday.
