Lansing authorities say a woman in her 60s has died from burns she received in a house fire.
Fire department spokeswoman Maggie Murphy tells the Lansing State Journal (http://on.lsj.com/JFlBmO ) the woman was in an upstairs apartment of a home when fire broke out Saturday.
Murphy says the woman called for help, and relatives living downstairs helped her get out. Murphy says the woman died Sunday at the University of Michigan Hospital's burn unit.
Murphy didn't release the woman's name. The spokeswoman says the fire's cause remains under investigation.
