An argument over the price of a sandwich became very costly for a Dearborn man Wednesday night.
Zachary Tetters called a café to place an order for a chicken sub after he saw the sandwich advertised for $3. When he was told that the price was actually $7.95 Teeters went into a rage and alleged threatened the owner with a knife.
Police were called and arrested Teeters a few blocks away from the restaurant.
According to Bayadaa Albayati, an employee of the sandwich shop, "The owner, he said, if he asks me nicely I will give it to him for free. But he was just demanding. You know, you need to give it to me at that time."
Teeters appeared before a judge Friday morning and could serve up to four years in prison if he is convicted.
