A model with local roots is hitting the news stands for the second year in a row.
Michigan native, Kate Upton, has been selected as the cover model again for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
That's according to our reporting partners at WSJM.
She was born in St. Joseph, and is the niece of Congressman Fred Upton. Her father is the Athletic Director at Niles High School.
According to Forbes, the magazine will be available next Tuesday, and will officially debut on David Letterman the night before.
She's only the ninth model to appear on the Swimsuit Edition twice.
