KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) Hundreds of people took part in an annual fun run through Kalamazoo.

And they drank along the way.

As part of the Bell's Snow Jog Adventure (Leisure) Race & Challenge on Saturday, participants made their way to nine different stops in the city for food, beer and challenges.

It's one of the kickoff events for Kalamazoo Beer Week 2014.

The jog benefits Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes.

The Kalamazoo Gazette says there were no prizes for first, second or third place, but participants who made it to at least six stops had their names entered into a drawing for a snow jog winter hat.

Those who made it to all nine stops were entered into a grand prize drawing.
