Grand Rapids police say authorities have pulled a body from the Grand River. They're withholding the victim's name until family members can be notified.
Sgt. James Potter says authorities got a call Thursday morning that a body was floating face down in the river north of Riverside Park. He says police and firefighters located the victim in shallow water.
Circumstances of the death aren't immediately known. Potter says an investigation is continuing.
