Gov. Rick Snyder's office says he's reappointed the president of the Grand Hotel and an ex-legislator to the board that runs the Mackinac Bridge.
An announcement Monday says Snyder renamed William Gnodtke of Charlevoix and Dan Musser of Petoskey and Mackinac Island to the Mackinac Bridge Authority.
The state created the seven-member authority in 1950 to manage the five-mile span that links Michigan's Upper and Lower peninsulas, running from Mackinaw City to Ishpeming.
The appointees will serve six-year terms that expire June 30, 2018. The appointments don't require state Senate approval.
Gnodtke is a former state representative and the retired founder of Gnodtke & Associates, a governmental consulting and fundraising company.
Musser is a member of the family that owns Mackinac Island's Grand Hotel and currently its president.
