Saginaw police are searching for a child murder suspect in the death of his 23-year-old girlfriend who was the mother of his 3-year-old son.

MLive.com says a memorial service for Angelica C. Olivarez is 11 a.m. Friday at John the Baptist Church in Carrollton.

Police discovered Olivarez's body after her 3-year-old son was found wandering the streets near their home Monday.

Police haven't said how she died but are seeking public assistance in finding 24-year-old Michael D. Lawrence for questioning.

Authorities describe him as black, 5-foot-10 and about 160 pounds.

He's served time for auto theft, safe-cracking, assault and firearms crimes.

Lawrence is one of four men charged in the drive-by shooting of 6-year-old Layla Jones in Saginaw on Aug. 29, 2012. The other three were arrested last year.
