Entry is free for a day at the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in the northwestern Lower Peninsula.
Superintendent Dusty Shultz says the park is waiving the fee Saturday to mark National Get Outdoors Day.
The park is headquartered in Empire and includes a stretch of Lake Michigan shoreline as well as North and South Manitou islands
The fee waiver doesn't cover the cost of camping, reservations, tours and concessions.
The park says free entry also is available Saturday at the other 397 units of the national park system.
