Four years after fire raced through a historic fraternity house in Ann Arbor, members of the Delta Upsilon chapter at the University of Michigan are returning to a remodeled home.
Chapter president Kevin Lass tells AnnArbor.com the homecoming has "been a long, long time coming." Lass pledged the fraternity as a freshman in the fall of 2009, a year after the house was torn down. He's been looking forward to this day ever since.
Lass says it's taken a lot of patience from undergraduates and it's been "really frustrating" but the final result is worth it.
Re-building much of the house cost $5.9 million.
