Four arrested after hiding out in Cass County business

Cass Co., Mich. Four juveniles could face criminal charges after they were caught hiding out inside a Cass County business after hours.

A triggered alarm led Dowagiac police to the Shopko store in the 56000 block of Pokagon Street.

Nothing seemed out of the ordinary when officers first got to the scene. But when a key holder arrived to let them in, they discovered four juveniles inside.

Police say they had purposely hidden in the store at closing time.

The group was taken into custody and later turned over to their parents.

A report is now being forwarded to the Cass County Prosecutor's Office for review.

Anyone with information about the case should call police.
