FLINT, Mich--- Flint police say they've arrested two people in the investigation of a Facebook posting showing a child being hit with a belt.

Police spokesman Jason Lorenz says in an email police became aware Friday "of a video showing a possible case of child abuse through social media." He says that investigators have taken two people into custody.

Their names and the charges weren't immediately released.

The Flint Journal says the video was posted on Facebook and shows a woman slapping a boy before asking him about his grades and behavior. The video also shows him being hit with a belt at least 60 times.

The newspaper says a woman's voice can be heard saying the video will go on Facebook and people can call children's protective services if they want.
