Christmas brings a change to the routine of a 94-year-old Roman Catholic monsignor who's still an active priest in Flint 68 years after his ordination.
Anthony Majchrowski usually hits bed at 9 p.m., but he stays up late on his birthday Christmas Eve to celebrate midnight Mass at All Saints Catholic Church in Flint.
Then, instead of having a good night's sleep, he's awake again after a few hours for Christmas morning services.
He tells the Detroit Free Press his focus is to "just keep going" and says he'll remain an active priest as long as he's able.
He's the third of five children and considered becoming a police officer or firefighter before turning to the priesthood.
He was ordained June 3, 1944, three days before D Day.
