Authorities say an early morning kitchen fire has forced 70 people out of a suburban Detroit senior housing complex. No injuries have been reported.
The Detroit Free Press (http://on.freep.com/OyWuqN ) says the fire broke out about 5:45 a.m. Sunday at the Cambridge South senior living complex in Beverly Hills.
City public safety Lt. Michael Vargas says the staff was starting to turn on appliances to cook breakfast when the fire started.
Vargas says the building's sprinklers extinguished the blaze. But he says there was "a pretty good amount of smoke and water from the fire suppression system."
The facility is expected to remain closed at least through Monday.
