SUTTONS BAY, Mich. Federal agents wearing hazardous-material suits have searched two properties in Suttons Bay, north of Traverse City.

FBI agent Ron Loch wouldn't reveal the reasons for the search to the Traverse City Record-Eagle. He says the agents wore protective suits as a precaution after an initial search of the buildings. There was no danger to the public.

A portion of Saint Mary's Avenue in Suttons Bay was shut down by local authorities assisting the FBI. Leelanau County Sheriff Mike Borkovich says his deputies weren't getting much information from agents.
