EDWARDSBURG, Mich. - An Edwardsburg man received his sentence for repeatedly stabbing his sister to death.
Edward Hensley, 60, will spend a maximum of 30 years in jail. He pled guilty last month in an agreement that acknowledges he was mentally ill and allows him to get treatment.
At the plea hearing, Hensley admitted to stabbing his sister, Martha Sexton, at least 11 times at their Cass County home back in June.
According to the Niles Daily Star, Hensley admitted during sentencing that the stabbing was triggered by an argument.
