Detroit police say man, 20, shot on city bus

DETROIT (AP) - Detroit police say a 20-year-old man was shot after accidentally bumping into someone on a city bus.

In a news release, Sgt. Eren Stephens says the shooting took place around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.

She says the victim was on a crowded Detroit Department of Transportation bus when he accidentally bumped into the gunman, who then pulled out a weapon and fired shots.

Police say the suspect fled from the bus.

The victim was listed in temporary serious condition.
