DETROIT (AP) - Thousands of Michigan residents are in the dark after a strong Midwestern storm pounded the state.
DTE Energy in southeastern Michigan has significantly raised its number to 60,000 customers. Wayne County is hit the hardest, followed by Washtenaw County. Consumers Energy reports more than 85,000 customers without power Sunday, from Allegan County to Saginaw.
DTE Energy spokeswoman Randi Berris says the number could grow again overnight due to high winds. She says, "We don't think we're done yet."
