Authorities searching for a 4½-month-old western Michigan girl who's been missing since last week want to find a cell phone belonging to her mother.
Ludington police say in a statement Tuesday that the phone was left in a vehicle driven by Katherine Phillips' father, who is jailed on kidnapping charges.
They want anyone with information to contact police.
No update was available from police on Wednesday morning.
Police previously searched between the Ludington apartment where
Katherine lives with her mother Ariel Courtland and the Scottville home of Sean Phillips, the child's father, and they located the clothing that she was wearing when she was last seen on June 29.
Phillips was arrested last week on kidnapping and child enticement charges.
Ludington is located about 80 miles northwest of Grand Rapids.
