Cell phone leads to deadly crash

Authorities in Western Michigan say a cell phone played a role in a car crash that killed two passengers.

It happened Sunday morning near Kalamazoo, Michigan

Police say that a woman was reaching for her cell phone and lost control of the car. They say she over-compensated after driving onto the shoulder, and skidded into the woods.

Two passengers who were not wearing belts were ejected and killed..

A young boy in a safety seat was critically injured.

The driver was also seriously hurt.
