Candidates and those trying to sink or support a raft of state ballot proposals are using the final hours before the election to energize voters.

Voters on Tuesday will find an overflowing ballot of local, state and national races and initiatives, including those for president, Congress, courts and proposed amendments to the Michigan Constitution. Included in the half-dozen proposals is a labor-backed proposal that would enshrine collective bargaining into the constitution and another about how much power the state should have in managing broke cities.

Matt Romney and Josh Romney were scheduled to make multiple stops across the state Monday supporting the election bid of their father, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

Republican Gov. Rick Snyder has been stumping against several ballot proposals, while Democratic congressmen have supported collective bargaining.
