Police in Saginaw say they're looking for whoever gunned down a 16-year-old boy in a vacant lot.

Mlive.com says the shooting happened Friday. It says police didn't immediately release the victim's name.

Area resident Chad Davis says he heard about seven shots that afternoon. Davis says he was riding in a vehicle an hour later when he noticed the teen's body lying in the lot with at least two gunshot wounds.

Police say emergency crews found the youth dead at the scene.
