So far, Benton Harbor area schools are struggling with enrollment this year.
About 2,700 students who live in the district will be going elsewhere. That’s what Superintendent Leonard Seawood told the school board this week – according to our reporting partners at The Herald Palladium.
He says it translates into $19 million that Benton Harbor is missing out on.
The district had rolled out an extensive enrollment campaign this year to try and draw students back.
