BENTON HARBOR, Mich. - A Benton Harbor man has been sentenced to 300 days in jail for robbing migrant workers at a farm camp.

Cleo Sims, 21, has a sentence that also includes four years of probation and nearly $2,600 in fines and restitution.

Sims pleaded guilty to the September unarmed robbery, admitting he took money and credit cards from workers at a camp in Eau Claire.

Under the terms of the agreement, charges were reduced from two counts of armed robbery.

Three others were charged in connection with the robberies.
