BENTON HARBOR, Mich. - The Benton Harbor library may have to downsize after it lost tax revenue from Benton Charter Township.

At a meeting on Tuesday, the board of trustees considered two potential replacements for the position recently vacated by city resident Sandra Barrett.

Barrett resigned in June.

The library says it has lost 37-percent of its operating revenues since 2007.

The library director says if revenue is not increased, drastic cuts will happen.
