Benton Harbor beach goers have a new place to grab some grub before hitting the sand.

Kinexus has opened a concession stand at Jean Klock Park called Beach Bites.

That's according to our reporting partners at WSJM Radio.

The stand helps out the non-profit and gives those involved at Bridge Academy work experience. Diners can munch on variety of snacks, like hamburgers and chili dogs.

Kinexus' Director of Emerging Ideas, Terry, Stokes, says working at Beach Bites just isn't a job, but rather a training tool to teach residents the skills needed in the workplace.

Hungry diners can stop at Beach Bites seve-days a week from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
