BENTON HARBOR An anti-bullying ordinance in the city of Benton Harbor is taking the back burner.
According to WSJM, the legislative committee tabled the proposal at this week's meeting to allow more time to figure out how it would be enforced.
Commissioners raised questions about who would determine whether or not a case involves bullying. They also need to determine a fee structure.
The proposed ordinance would make bullying illegal, holding parents accountable if their child is the one behind the bullying.
