JACKSON, Mich. (AP) - Michigan authorities report a second incident of maggots being found in a prison's food service area.

The latest case happened Tuesday at the Charles Egeler Reception and Guidance Center in Jackson.

Corrections Department spokesman Russ Marlan tells the Jackson Citizen Patriot and the Detroit Free Press that Warden Heidi Washington ordered Aramark Correctional Services to discard all potatoes at Egeler's kitchen.

Gov. Rick Snyder on Tuesday complained of a "number of issues" with Philadelphia-based Aramark's performance as the food provider in Michigan prisons. Snyder says he may reconsider the company's 3-year, $145 million contract.

Aramark spokeswoman Karen Cutler says it acted promptly after one infested potato was found.

Prisoners at Parnall Correctional Facility in Jackson reported illnesses after maggots and fly larvae were found Friday in a food line.
