A pretzel business is aiming to make things right with its customers after a scuffle at a suburban Detroit mall over dipping sauce.

Auntie Anne's says its Detroit-area locations are offering free dipping sauces Friday.

The giveaway follows a brawl March 31 involving an employee and two women at the Auntie Anne's location at Oakland Mall in Troy.

Police say one customer reported she was given the wrong dip and was told she had to pay for a replacement, since the original one was partially eaten. An argument ensued where police say nacho cheese dip was thrown and the women tried to jump the counter.

Auntie Anne's President and Chief Operating Officer Bill Dunn said in a statement posted on YouTube that he expects customers to be treated with respect.
