The White House says some tickets will be available for the public for Michelle Obama's visit to Detroit that is tied to her continuing efforts to foster mentorship opportunities for young people.
The First Lady and Michigan's First Gentleman Daniel Mulhern will take part in an event focused on Detroit's students Wednesday at Wayne State University's Adams Field.
They will be joined by leaders in business, entertainment, news, sports and government. Ticket distribution begins at 5 p.m. Monday at the Adams Field ticket booth. The limit is two tickets per person.
The event will be followed by a smaller luncheon with young people.
