Next month, those who want to demolish the Eastgate Shopping Center in Niles Township will have their day in court.
A Berrien County Judge has set a hearing date of March 11th. Attorneys for Niles Township file suit asking that the building be demolished in the name of public safety.
The last tenant left the shopping center in 2005, and the building was condemned in 2006.
The building is owned by Moorpark Associates, LLC of California
