Four dogs have died in a fire at a home in Van Buren County in western Michigan.
Authorities say the fire appears to be an accident. No one besides the dogs was inside the two-story house when the fire broke
out Wednesday in South Haven Township, 40 miles west of Kalamazoo.
The home suffered heavy damage on both floors. Firefighters working in extreme heat packed up after more than two hours.
