Four Washtenaw County teens could face charges after acknowledging that they spray painted vulgar and racially sensitive graffiti on homes, driveways, lawns and cars in Lodi Township, southwest of Ann Arbor.
Washtenaw County sheriff's Sgt. Geoff Fox tells AnnArbor.com for a story Thursday that the vandalism "was just random acts of stupidity."
Fox says the 18-year-old, two 16-year-olds and 15-year-old males told police they committed the damage but "weren't targeting anyone in particular."
Reports will be forwarded to prosecutors for charges that could include malicious destruction of property. The teens live in the Saline area and were released to their parents or guardians.
Residents in Lodi Township's Brookview Highlands neighborhood discovered the graffiti Saturday morning.
