Students in trouble over high school girl's nude photo

Several Michigan students could be expelled for sharing a nude picture of a classmate.

Police say a 14-year-old "girl Pinckney" high school student took the photo of herself this summer, and sent it to a few friends as a joke.

The picture has now been passed among hundreds of classmates.

Police say that is distribution of child pornography, and some students may face criminal charges!!

"It could have gone nationally, as far as we know. We do know that it's out of the Pinckney high school and now into the Brighton, Heartland schools. Once you hit send on a computer, the same for a cell phone, once you hit send that information is no longer yours," explained Detective Todd Luzod of the Livingston County Police.

Police estimate more than 200-students have seen the picture over the past couple of months.

So far, ten students have been suspended.

20 others could be punished, including the girl who took the photo.
