Police are investigating a burglary and separate attempted robbery in Detroit that left three suspects wounded and a fourth dead.
A 41-year-old man tells police he was leaving a northwest Detroit gas station Friday evening when he struggled with - and shot - another man who was trying to rob him.
A 20-year-old man was listed in temporary serious condition at a local hospital.
Police say the 41-year-old has a concealed pistol license.
Early Friday morning, a 51-year-old Detroit store owner shot three of four men who had broken into his shop on the city's west side. One of the men was killed and two others wounded. A fourth man was found hiding inside the store and arrested.
