HAMTRAMCK, Mich. Two young teens have been charged as adults in the attempted killing of a homeless man in the Detroit enclave of Hamtramck.
The Wayne County prosecutor's office says a 14-year-old from Hamtramck and a 13-year-old from Detroit face arraignment Tuesday at the county Juvenile Detention Center.
They're charged with each is charged with assault with intent to murder, which carries a maximum sentence of life in prison.
It wasn't immediately known if they have lawyers.
The Detroit News reports that the 55-year-old victim was attacked late Saturday night and remains in critical condition at a Detroit hospital.
