CAMBRIDGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. Southeastern Michigan authorities say two motorcycle riders were killed when a car pulled into their path.

The crash happened at 8:40 p.m. Monday in Lenawee County's Cambridge Township, about 60 miles southwest of Detroit.

Township police Chief Larry Wibbeler tells The Daily Telegram of Adrian that 49-year-old passenger Dawn D. Hart of Martin died at the scene, and 56-year-old driver Daniel J. Santure of Cement City died Tuesday morning at the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor.

Wibbeler says the motorcycle was eastbound on Michigan 50 when a car turned onto the highway from a side road in their path. He says an investigation continues.
