Detroit fire officials say two men have died in a blaze on the city's west side.
Lt. Gerod Funderburg tells The Detroit News and the Detroit Free Press crews were called after 6 a.m. on Monday to fight a fire at a home near Interstate 96.
According to the fire department, the unidentified victims were ages 67 and 42.
The men were rushed to Detroit Receiving hospital.
The 67-year-old suffered smoke inhalation, and the other man had smoke inhalation and first- and second-degree burns.
