Two brothers have died and a woman has been critically injured after their vehicle crashed into a tree in Battle Creek.

Police say they think speed was a factor in the wreck, which happened about 1:45 a.m. Thursday.

Janna Hampton tells WOOD-TV that the victims were her brothers, 29-year-old Alonzo Hampton and 23-year-old Jessie Jackson. Both lived in Battle Creek.

The Battle Creek Enquirer says 39-year-old Bobbie Bombard of Battle Creek was in critical condition at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
